The very first meditation I really got into (and finished!) is still my favorite: The Healing Temple, by TheHonestGuys. The first time I did this meditation, I saw one of my spirit animals for the first time. Other times, I’ll use it to get clarity on a big decision. Or I’ll just sit in the positive, healing energy and just be with whatever comes up. And bonus, the narrator’s accent is spectacular.
It keeps your mind occupied during the first half as you’re taken to a temple where all sorts of healing goodies are. You’ll be left with a soundscape in the temple for a good chunk of time, receiving whatever it is that you need in that moment. If you don’t need all the time provided, it’s perfectly acceptable to stop the meditation when you’ve had enough.
While there’s a lot of meditations that can be done at any point in the day, it’s been my experience that this particular meditation is most beneficial when you have plenty of time to relax. For me, that was either after I had dinner or a weekend morning. And remember, do your best to stay open to receiving whatever may come.
Give it a try here!
